How to Properly Care for Your Favorite Pieces

In this guide, we’ll show you step by step how to safely and effectively clean your gold, silver, platinum, and diamond jewelry at home.

To get started, you’ll only need a few simple items:

A small bowl
Mild dish soap
A soft toothbrush
A fine strainer
Paper towels
A jewelry polishing cloth

STEP 1

Prepare a bowl with hot water.

STEP 2

Add a few drops of mild dish soap without harsh additives to the water.

STEP 3

Mix the soap thoroughly until it is fully dissolved.

STEP 4

Gently place your pieces of jewelry in the water bath and leave them there for 5 minutes.

STEP 5

Carefully clean any remaining buildup using a soft toothbrush – especially in hard-to-reach areas.

STEP 6

Place the cleaned jewelry into a fine strainer.

STEP 7

Rinse thoroughly under clean, lukewarm water to remove all soap residue. Tip: Close your sink drain for safety to avoid losing any pieces.

STEP 8

Place your jewelry on a paper towel and gently pat it dry.

STEP 9

Polish your pieces with a special jewelry polishing cloth for extra shine.

STEP 10

Et voilà! Your jewelry sparkles like new and is ready to shine with you again.
