ANNA'S APRICOT JAM

Simple, honest, and made with lots of love

Between sparkling diamonds and delicate jewelry pieces, our founder and designer Anna finds her very own time-out in the kitchen. Not with elaborate menus, but with a simple, loving tradition: making apricot jam.

Anyone who knows our video portrait of Anna will know: breakfast with her husband is a daily ritual, the most important meal of the day. And every summer during apricot season, Anna’s kitchen transforms into a fragrant jam workshop.

A sweet break

For Anna, every jar is a spoonful of summer. A moment full of warmth and happiness that you can preserve and later – when the days get cooler again – simply spread on your bread. Sneaking tastes here and there while cooking the apricots is naturally part of the process. Filled into lovingly designed jars, she gifts the jam to friends, family, and sometimes long-time customers.

Anna’s Apricot Jam Recipe

Makes about 4-5 jars of 250 ml each

Ingredients

  • 1 kg very ripe, sweet apricots (pitted weight – the sweeter, the better!)
  • approx. 300 g gelling sugar – there’s no exact amount, following the motto: Measure with your heart. Anna prefers it less sweet, focusing on the natural flavor of the fruit. If you like it sweeter, you can always adjust later.

Preparation

  1. Halve and pit the apricots.
  2. Mix with the gelling sugar and let sit covered overnight.
  3. Prepare sterilized jars the next morning, have matching lids and a funnel ready.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat while stirring constantly and cook vigorously for about 5–10 minutes.
  5. Fill into jars, seal tightly, briefly turn upside down, and let cool completely.

More than just jam

For Anna, breakfast is not just about taste – presentation matters just as much. The table is lovingly set with fine dishes from ANNA'S Tableware Collection.

Special attention is given to the jam jars – small treasures filled with love that touch not only the palate but also the heart. “It’s something special to create something that brings joy – whether it’s a piece of jewelry that accompanies you for a lifetime or jam that simply makes you happy for a moment.”

If you look closely, you can see the handwriting of a woman who sees something precious even in a jam jar. Because gold doesn’t always have to shine – sometimes it just tastes like apricot… ;-)
