Care instructions - Jewellery
Your ANNA jewelry is authentic, superior quality fine jewelry meant to accompany you on all your daily adventures. However, if you’d like your ANNA jewelry to sustain its sparkle, providing sporadic to regular care may be necessary.
Silver
Prolonged exposure to air can oxidize silver, resulting in unwanted tarnish. Additionally, keep silver from contact with too much makeup and excessive cosmetics. Chlorine and sweat are also agents that can cause tarnishing and because it is relatively soft, silver can easily scratch or scuff. Polishing silver can help it retain its stunning shine. Caring and cleaning silver is a cinch with special cleaning cloths, baths, or pastes. When not wearing your silver, place it in a proper case and store safely.
GOLD
Our gold jewelry is fabricated from superior 18 ct. rose, white gold and yellow gold. Perspiration and additional external agents can yellow the character of the copper content in rose gold. Gold plating in our workshop can restore your jewelry to its original splendor, and even white gold with a dull, flat appearance can once again glimmer and glow.
DIAMONDS
Being the hardest of all precious stones, diamonds have a reputation for being king of all gemstones into eternity. Nevertheless, hard impact or severe temperature changes may cause a diamond to crack, splinter, or break entirely. It’s best to take off your diamond studded jewelry when doing housework or exercising. Household cleaners and creams have been known to additionally reduce its luster. An ultrasonic cleaning at one of our stores is the best way to rejuvenate your diamond jewelry and return its original luster and shine.
PEARLS
The most detrimental agents to a pearl’s health are sweat, perfume, alcohol, and all other acids, chemicals, and dirt. Additionally, pearls are susceptible to excessive heat or too much sunbathing, as this could result in tarnishing. Pearls are fairly independent and thoroughly enjoy their alone time. Store them separately from other jewelry in a cloth bag to prevent damage.
EMERALD
The emerald is a very soft stone and particularly sensitive to pressure and impact. You should use a damp cloth to gently clean your emerald jewelry. Intensifying the shine of emeralds can be done by treating the stone with colorless oil with a cotton swab. Gently apply the oil to the surface in order to prevent the stone from becoming too porous and from breaking when subjected to too much stress. Please be aware that running water or chemical cleaning should be avoided when caring for emeralds. Additionally, ultrasonic cleaning and high temperatures are also considered unsuitable when caring for your emeralds. We recommend taking off your emerald jewelry during any housework or when engaging in athletic activities.
